On 26 August 2022, Mr. Leung, chairman of Luxking Group, Mr. Yang, manager of Zhongshan New Asia Adhesive Products Co., Ltd., and leaders from Nancheng District of Anlu visited our new Hubei factory plant. At the tour to production unit and construction site, they had a detailed understanding of the factory's staff management, production safety, product quality control and inspected the progress of its overall development.

In the subsequent meeting, Mr. Xiao, manager of Hubei factory plant, further illustrated the development process, management structure and future planning of the plant. Mr. Leung praised the Hubei team for the achievements made so far, and provided some opinions and suggestions during the meeting. He believed Hubei plant would be a great success in the future.

Later, Mr Leung invited all staff of Hubei plant for lunch. He learned about their work and exchanged thoughts in this casual and relaxing setting. He also expressed his vision for the company.

Our teram in Hubei plant will continue to strengthen its daily management, improve production safety, have strict control over product quality, and boost its comprehensive strength. Going forward, our focus will be a safe, secure, stable, high-quality and high-speed development of Hubei plant, building a solid foundation for the Group's future growth.

Mid-summer is a good barbeque season! One day in late July, company organized a barbeque evening for the employees to enjoy. It was packed with great food and fun activities, e.g. karaoke, mahjong game, etc. People from different background got the chance to socializing outside of work. The event was filled with joy and laughter, many felt that their relationships were further promoted in this relaxing setting. 

In order to spur innovation, extend our R&D resources, and sharpens our competitive advantage, Luxking’s management and head of R&D had a collaboration exchange meeting with Prof. OU-YANG Xing of College of Materials Science and Engineering, Shenzhen University, Prof. LI Kun Quan and Dr. XIE Hua Li from Dongguan University Of Technology School of Material Science and Engineering, Prof. LUO Chao Yun of Shenzhen Polytechnic, and Prof. SU Tao Long of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute in July 2022. They are specialists in their own respected disciplinary areas.

In Luxking, we believe good business-academic collaboration will lead to fruitful discoveries. Our honorable guests and Luxking had shared their insights and latest successes of their respected fields, openly discussed about the collaboration and explored new potentials.

Looking forward, we will deepen our partnerships with these institutions through technology consultation, strategic talent development programme, establishment of joint laboratory, and key research projects, etc. This will promote synergy and turn academic successes into real-life applications.

March 8 is the International Women’s Day to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. At New Asia, women’s accomplishment is equally valued as their male coworkers’. To express appreciation of our female colleagues’ continuous contribution, this year New Asia organized many fun games and stalls on this date for them to enjoy. Our male colleagues were also welcome to play along. At the event, everyone had a wonderful time, sound of laughter filled up every corner of the factory.

“Early Detection and Early Treatment” is a key preventive measure to tackle the spread of coronavirus. In response to the recent cases detected in the community, the Municipal government acted quickly to conduct a compulsory PCR testing for all people in the city. New Asia has worked closely and quickly with the local government to carry out the testing for our employees in the factory on 14 January 2022. New Asia would like to thank community medical team, community officials and New Asia’s volunteers to facilitate the testing process. There was no confirmed case reported from this testing.

Over the last 26 years, we have come across many challenges and opportunities, and thrived to build a stronger foundation. We have been grateful to our employee, business partners, customers and suppliers for the continuous support and understanding along the journey. Everyone at Luxking would continue their devotion for the company and build a brighter future for the adhesive industry.

New Asia organized a corporate hiking trip to Gui Feng Shan in November. Instead of classic team building activities like problem-solving workshops, New Asia believed that an inspirational hiking trip could be equally beneficial. Interacting with the nature, share a full day with our colleagues surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Uninterrupted time to chat, think, discuss, reflect – whilst really getting to know each other. This trip was truly enjoyable, sociable and inclusive, which brought our staff closer together.

New Asia will invest in a solar energy system which is capable of generating at peak about 1.6MWp. This is in line with the Group’s objective to move towards a green and sustainable future.

On 28 October 2021, we were delighted to have government officials Gong Wei, Lu Chang Qiu, Zhao Fang Xian and their team visited our factory and learned about New Asia’s governance and operations. They inspected our productions and daily operations. In the meeting, we shared and discussed many aspects of our factory, e.g. corporate structure, employment, health and safety, business operation, production, corporate culture, etc. 

In October 2021, New Asia participated in the 2021 Film & Tape Expo in Shenzhen. We were delighted to meet with existing customers as well as discovering new customers. We brought our latest products to spotlight, in which our customers had shown great interests. 

On 11 October, New Asia’s senior management and different sales teams were gathered and shared their sales strategies about latest market information, upcoming market trends and sales goals. The knowledge sharing helped our sales personnel to learn from each other and advnace. The management acknowledged the achievements made by our outstanding sales personnel. Despite continue facing a challenging business environment, their remarkable contribution will bring New Asia to new highs moving forward.

Anyone can fall victim to financial fraud. It never discriminates and comes in many forms. With reports of fraud dramatically increasing in the community, it is important to be alert. New Asia organized a seminar about Scam and Fraud Prevention for our employees. 

New Asia builds a diverse, inclusive and respectful community for our people. Every quarter, we organize dinner gathering to celebrate our employees’ birthdays.

Our staff, fire and paramedic services

had realised fire-fighting and rescue

protocols and techniques. The training

was successful and rewarding. 

Industrial safety has always been one

of our top priorities. This year, we had

a collaborated fire drill with the local fire

services department. During the exercise,

we simulated chemical leakage through

faulty pipes which caused explosions and

fire. 

Employee enjoyed a great day out. Team-

members had become more cohesive and

efficient through different tasks and

activities.
